The Kalita Humphreys Theater has received a restoration proposal from Diller Scofidio + Renfro. The project seeks to return the theater to its original state through surgical removal, selective reconstruction, preservation, and a faithful reinterpretation of Wright’s design intent. The theater will also have a green space that will be a park connected to Turtle Creek and the Katy Trail, some of the most visited destinations in Dallas.
