Flat Iron 505 State Street, nearing completion in Brooklyn

New images of a new glass-clad skyscraper in Brooklyn have been released. This building, named 505 State Street for its location in downtown Brooklyn, will run on all-electric power and will have a maximum height of 146 meters. Most of its facade is clad in glass and aluminum. On one side, the tower is flat. On the other side, it is set back from the street to maximize views of midtown Manhattan over the East River and to be consistent with street-level brownstones and historic architecture, such as the historic Williamsburg Savings Bank tower.
