OMA/Jason Long and YA Studio sustainable housing plan kicks off

A collaboration between OMA/Jason Long and the YA studio has begun with the co-development of an 8-story building that will house 160 highly affordable homes and services for low-income people in San Francisco. The design of the new building aims to reflect the diverse communities of the city. Pockets of open space take care of the building mass to create various spaces for interaction, bring natural light into the residential units, and open up views of Golden Gate Park from common areas. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2025.
