Shanghai based architecture firm, Minax has created an elliptical teahouse. The design is made with 999 wooden sticks that create a meaningful optical illusion. The sticks are attached to the chipboard walls pointing to an identical center creating an egg-shaped room from a rectangular space.
When de sunlight comes in the center, it is possible to appreciate the multiple layers of circles created with the sticks.
