The Audubon Aquarium and Insectarium in New Orleans, improved

The Audubon Aquarium and Insectarium has been upgraded thanks to Eskew Dumez Ripple and CambridgeSeven, architectural firms adding new glass and a angled foyer pierced by a walkway.

Located in the heart of New Orleans, the museum spans 6,332 square meters, offering exhibits focusing on wildlife and habitats from around the world, from the Louisiana swamps to the South American rainforests. The recent renovation and expansion was motivated by a desire to update and expand the museum’s offerings, which included moving the insectarium into the aquarium building.
