New LA hillside home

A residence with a concrete plinth rising up the side of a mountain has been completed in Los Angeles. The project, carried out by Anonymous Architects, was designed in response to the steep angle of the site, reaching 45 degrees in some areas, and the views offered by the lookout. The home’s garage is on the top floor and functions as a large box structure wrapped in a vertical gray wooden screen. A tunnel-like staircase leads to the front patio, which is a walkable terrace space on the roof, outlined by a black metal railing.
