Manhattan’s historic Penn Station will be renovated by HOK and Practice for Architecture and Urbanism after years of delays. The revitalization of the transit center includes a new entrance on Eighth Avenue and a renovation of existing structures. Penn Station is located directly below Madison Square Garden, and the HOK and PAU plans see the arena’s facade draped in a stone facade that mirrors that of Moynihan Train Hall across the street.
