Tiffany & Co’s flagship store in Manhattan has been renovated by OMA

Tiffany & Co’s 1940s flagship store in Manhattan has been renovated by OMA, adding a three-story glass extension to the historic jewelry store. The studio added a three-story glass structure to the rooftop to house galleries and event spaces. This extension is made up of two stacked glass volumes: the lower one is divided into two floors and recessed from the edge of the roof to create a small terrace and the upper volume, which the architecture studio describes as a «jewel box», rises above the lower volume on three sides.
