The 72-meter (W)rapper office tower in Los Angeles has been completed by the studio of American architect Eric Owen Moss. The tower began construction in 2017 and is encased in continuous steel bands resembling concrete material, steel bands resting on an insulated foundation base. This footing separates the tower structure above from the seismic isolator foundation below, to allow the building to safely respond and move against any seismic event.
