Floating Pavilion in New York

Crystal Lake Pavilion, a project for the West Catskills region of New York, has been unveiled that will sit on a 497-acre wilderness forest occupied by a thirty-two-acre man-made lake. Surrounded by hills, the area is home to indigenous flora and fauna, including hundreds of species of plants, flowers, trees, wildlife, and insects. The project will be built on a timber frame and its structure will comprise heavy timber elements that have been joined using lap joints and mortise and tenon joints. Your roof will take shape with light steel connections and a standing seam steel roof.
