The Portland Museum of Art will be expanded by Lever Architecture, selected studio in an international architecture competition launched in June 2022. The project, called The PMA Blueprint, will be built with sustainable solid wood and will be the first expansion of the museum in its more than 40-year history. This will add 5,574 square meters of flexible and community spaces that will connect directly with the Charles Shipman Payson Building
