The Caterpillar, a metal shack with dormer windows and made up of lofts for a Detroit neighborhood, has been unveiled. Located in Core City, the 9,000-square-foot project was designed by Undecorated. The building contains eight apartments, all housed within an elongated Quonset hut, a type of prefabricated arched metal structure. Cabins are known for being cheap and quick to build.
