I feel I have just landed in New York City and in my new training job, but it has been three weeks already. Time goes by so fast!

These past weeks have been pretty overwhelming. Getting used to such a big city, with so many activities, meetings, events can be easy. New York have so many interesting things to offer to any kind of people. However, it can also be very difficult sometimes to get used to its packed long and unclean streets. No doubt, it is a city of contrasts and adapting to its rhythm and working culture can sometimes be, as I´ve said, overwhelming.

My experience at S9 architecture, has been pretty intense since the very beginning. I am working on a project based in Toronto where I am being able to contribute and participate in its design since the first day.

In this city people don´t lose time at all, and every minute counts. I am sure this experience is going to add me so much knowledge on the architecture design field, and for sure it is going to be a breaking point on my life and career. I have to thank you again Architect-US for staying in contact with me and S9 Architecture and helping me with the onboarding process.

Job is intense but life can be as much intense and interesting if you get to know the right people and events. In fact, during the summer season there are hundreds of free events. It really worths it to invest some of your time looking for those ones that best matches with your interests, because you will be able to find the most amazing spectacles you will ever imagine. As an example, last Saturday I assisted to an amazing ballet on Lincoln Center, with some of the most renowned New York based ballet companies. An event with no comparison and it was for free.

I hope I can tell about more amazing  experiences on the following months.
