It has already been a month since I arrived in New York City, and it seems like yesterday when I was waiting to receive my passport after the embassy appointment, packing and preparing everything to travel.
After a few busy weeks, during which I was finishing all the paperwork before the arrival, looking for an apartment, knowing the city and the office, visiting new sites in the meantime, everything is slowing down and getting more stable, and with the nice weather, plans in the city are increased, specially in such an iconic place in New York as Central Park.
Having a spot like this inside a modern city is a luxury at anytime of the year, and above all in spring and summer, when people enjoy the warm temperatures and the good weather gathering in sheep Meadows and its surroundings, and you have plenty of concerts, spectacles, activities, baseball games, graduations, sports classes that are scheduled but this time.
Due to the summer weather of this week the park was crowded, people were biking, doing footing, having picnics, etc. so it was the perfect time to spend my day in the park, and going all over its lakes, paths and meadows.
At the moment, I’ve just walked around a small portion of the park, and every time that I go through I get surprised, this time I was impressed about how many people go to the park just to take pictures of different kinds of birds.
I’m looking forward to seeing it, covered in snow in winter, or with its typical tree colour in autumn.
