Continuing with this journey my cultural activity of the month was Maroon 5 concert. I know that I went to another concert last month and I guess that at some point I will have to change my cultural activity so I will be able to explore and live other things, but for now, I just want to say that It was completely worth it. With a friend of the office and some other friends of her we decided to go to this concert, and bought the cheapest ticket right at the end of the whole amphitheater. I wasn’t sure if we were going to have a good view from the stage but the amphitheater wasn’t that big. And our zona was without seats, and on grass. So basically, if you want to you could bring your seat or rent some over there. Some of our group knew that, some others didn’t know that (I am part of the last group) but that didn’t stop us to enjoy the experience. What I was able to notice is that what people do is that they bring stuff to make a picnic while waiting for the concert to beging. They enjoy the afternoon, the sun, and the crowd and the waiting.
The opening band was Blackbear, I had never heard any songs of them but they are actually good, I shazam a few that I liked and now they are at my library in Spotify. They sang for a while and after that Maroon 5 did their big opening and the concert began. I dance and sang throughout all the songs specially the old ones like Sunday Morning or She will be loved. This was on a thursaday night so as soon as it finished we walk away so we would have some hours of sleep.
«Beauty queen of only eighteen, she had some trouble with herself
He was always there to help her, she always belonged to someone else
I drove for miles and miles, and wound up at your door
I’ve had you so many times, but somehow I want more.»Maroon 5
I’ll see what october will bring me!
