Live music and visual art meet in an immersive performance and exhibition

A couple of weeks ago, the office where I am currently doing my internship, organized a field trip to enjoy the Reich Richter Pärt’s exhibit. At the beginning I was uncertain about it, since I had never heard about it before. However, it was such a good initiative that I knew I had to free up some space in my calendar to go there.

Another reason that made this show even more interesting was its location, in a building that just had opened: The Shed’s Bloomberg Building, designed by Diller Scofidio+Renfro. It was also a good opportunity to go there and check the Hudson Yards one more time, New York City’s new neighborhood that opened a few months ago.

About the show, as it is said in the website, «it was an immersive live performance and exhibition that explored the shared sensory language of visual art and music.» It consisted on musical structures in a moving picture work made with a live performance. An amazing experience full of color, patterns, music and fun movements.

Last but not least, I am extremely happy to be part of an office with such great initiatives and I want to encourage others to do so. It is an easy way to create a good atmosphere with your coworkers and friends!
