Weekend from New York to Boston

Train trip to Boston

As an architect, I am always looking for new and exciting places to visit and explore. That’s why I was excited to plan a trip to Boston from New York in the month of November. I had heard great things about the city’s rich history, beautiful architecture, and cultural attractions, and I couldn’t wait to see them for myself.

I decided to take the train from New York to Boston, as it was a convenient and comfortable way to travel. The journey itself took about four hours, and as I settled into my seat and looked out the window, I was struck by the beautiful fall foliage that lined the tracks. Therefore the colors of the leaves were absolutely stunning, and I couldn’t help but snap a few photos to capture the moment.

Marvelous brick city

As we approached Boston, I couldn’t wait to start exploring the city. My first stop was the Freedom Trail, a 2.5 mile walking tour that takes you to some of the most important historical sites in the city. I was fascinated by the stories of the Revolutionary War and the role that Boston played in it, and I was particularly impressed by the Old State House, which was built in 1713 and is considered one of the oldest public buildings in the United States.

After the Freedom Trail, I made my way to the Boston Common, a beautiful public park that is home to numerous statues and monuments. From there, I walked to the nearby Beacon Hill neighborhood, which is known for its charming brick row houses and narrow streets. I was struck by the beauty of the architecture in this neighborhood, and I couldn’t resist taking a few more photos and enjoy each moment in such a gorgeous city.

Cheers to the weekend

As the weekend came to an end, I made my way back to the train station to begin my journey back to New York. Although my trip to Boston was brief, I was able to see and experience so much in such a short amount of time. From the beautiful fall foliage to the rich history and stunning architecture, there was no shortage of things to marvel at and appreciate. I can’t wait to plan another trip to this amazing city in the future.
