Trip to San Clemente

Hello Architect-US crew!

In this blog post, I want to tell you about a speedy trip to Southern California. Instead of staying in Los Angeles, we decided to get away from all the buzz of the city and spend some days in a relaxing surfing town.

San Clemente, California is a hidden gem on the coast that is perfect for anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway. With its pristine beaches, rolling hills, and charming downtown, it is easy to see why San Clemente has become a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike.

Food in San Clemente

One of the standout features of San Clemente is its delicious seafood. Whether you are looking for fresh fish tacos, juicy lobster, or crisp oysters, you will find it here. The local seafood is caught daily and prepared with care, making it a true delight for anyone who loves seafood. If you are looking for Mexican food, Avila’s El Ranchito is a must! ( and a personal favorite of mine)

Another must-try treat in San Clemente is its ice cream. From classic scoops to unique and inventive flavors, there is something for everyone here. Whether you are in the mood for a creamy cone or a refreshing sorbet, you are sure to find a treat that will satisfy your sweet tooth.

Nature in Southern California

In addition to its delicious food, San Clemente is also a true paradise for anyone who loves the great outdoors. With miles of pristine beaches and rolling hills, it is the perfect place for anyone looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. I missed nature in Chicago, and all the different hiking routes in San Clemente didn’t disappoint!

Overall, San Clemente is a hidden gem that is not to be missed. With its stunning scenery, delicious food, and endless opportunities for adventure, it is the perfect destination for anyone looking for a true escape from the everyday.
