My name is Ane, I am from the Basque Country and as my first blog post, I want to thank the whole Architect-US team for making my American Dream come true!
I have always wanted to go to the US and live the experience of working in an Architectural Company, but I had to admit that I didn´t see it like something easy to get. However, I started applying for different offers and sending my resume and portfolio to several companies. But I always received the same answer: we are not interested (or I didn´t even receive an answer). But, one day, I found the website of Architect-US. I sent them my resume and portfolio (to be honest, without much hope), and for my surprise, the next day I received an email saying that I was accepted in the program! I couldn´t believe it, my American Dream was closer!
And this is how everything started. They started sending me offers from different architectural companies, and after making several interviews with different companies, at least, KFA (this was the company where I wanted to go, the one that I liked the most), made me an offer! I was really excited!!
After that, we started the J1 Visa process. The whole process has been very fast, Architect- Us made all the paperwork, and I just had to go to the Embassy to make the interview, where they told me that my visa was approved! The whole J1 Visa process took 3 weeks to complete, it has been really fast.
And now here I am, preparing everything, ready to start this amazing experience at KFA in Culver City!
So, thank you Architect- US team, for all the support, hope and advices you have been giving me during the whole process, and for solving all my questions so fast. And of course, for making my American Dream come true!
