To begin with, we would like to point out how hot it has been this month in San Juan. It seems that the heating is on all day and to go out is to think about it. Yes, it is very hot. Even though July has come with a lot of rain, it only made the humidity sensation even greater. Indispensable to have air conditioning in the apartment.
It has been a month of a lot of work and new events. In the MARVEL office they are starting to do events every week. Just last week we had a family event for the whole office at the Botanical Garden in Rio Piedras. All the employees went with their families and we had a great day. We played games, took walks around the area, and ate, ate a lot. There was a lot of food.
There was laughter all day long. I like the family atmosphere in the office. Everyone is very responsible and very good in the office. But I want to emphasize the human treatment and the good welcome they offer. I would like to point out that I ended up winning a trophy in the games of the day.
Due to the pandemic I had not yet met all the employees of the office. Finally we were all sharing.
The work continues very well at a good pace. I am 100% focused on a high end hotel in Old San Juan. We are finishing the concept phase and next week we will start the schematic walkthrough. New challenges are coming as we start for the first time this phase in which the contact with the consultants is continuous.
Finally, I must confess that even though I live 5 minutes away from the beach and I should be tanned, I don’t go as much as I would like to. The rains and work have not allowed me to go to the beach this month. On the other hand, I have visited other towns like Ciales, which is in the mountains. The breeze there felt very good.
