I would like to share with you another special place in Vero Beach that make great my exchange experience in USA.
I am talking about Round Island Beach Park, a lovely spot alongside the beautiful river. In this park, just South of Vero Beach, there are so much wonder to see and explore that you have to add it to your “MUST SEE” list.
I walked along quiet trails through mango groves, along river banks, on a boardwalk that takes you over the edges of the river, and through pine forests. There is a tower between pines and you can watch the pelicans dive for fishing and the teeming bird life.
In a few words? A quiet corner away from the Ocean!
I went there for a specific reason…to look at the manatees. This is the right spot to see them in this period and you cannot imagine how big and amazing them are.
After a walk through the park I ventured over to the ocean side, a beautiful beach with few people but lots of charm. Hidden gem for anyone who loves a quiet, clean, and gorgeous view of the Atlantic Ocean.
