My first 5k running experience competition ever was actually a music festival …. were running while drinking a beer was normal and totally expected!
Night Nation run is an event/ music festival/ 5k competition/fundraiser that takes place nationwide in various main cities. My experience was in Philadelphia in the Xfinity center, (part of the main baseball field, home for the Phillies).

THE COURSE: You will find multiple party zones with live DJ’s, Dancers, Light Shows, Selfie-Stations and Glow Gear Giveaways! We encourage you to dance and party as long as you like at each course stage.
THE AFTER PARTY: After you cross the finish line the real party begins! On the main stage, multiple DJ’s will bring the house down. Dance the night away as lights, fog, cryo, confetti guns, and giveaways rain down on you! Yes! There will be food and alcohol for sale (cash only) in the festival area.
