The Swiss firm Herzog & de Meuron announced its plans for a new project in Stockholm, Sweden.
The cylindrical frame of a gas holder has been demolished in order to create space for a skyscraper and an exhibition hall. The project is due in 2019 and it will contain 45 floors with a total of 500 apartments.
Besides, the residential complex will be overseen by Oscar Properties, and Piet Oudolf and LOLA Landscape Architects, both Dutch landscape designers, will develop a wildflower meadow and public parkland. Don’t you think this will be a piece of art?
