My name is Chiara and I am an Italian architect. My dream is coming and I am so excited I can’t think of anything else, here my Trainee J1 Visa with Architect-US.
It all began the first time I went to Florida for a few months to visit my fiancè, who was working there. I was immediately impressed by American culture and captured by American architecture. Then, I started thinking about the possibility of taking part in professional training and cultural exchange. After having read up on the process to get the visa I was discouraged. So many paperwork for me and the host company, so many doubts about the requirements to be met…
I thought: “There is no way it gonna happen!” Fortunately, when I was close to give up my dream, I stumble upon the Architect-US website. I contacted them and they gave me the right hints!
I looked for a position as architect trainee and, after a few months, I got an interview at Hoos Architecture, an architectural firm settled in Vero Beach (FL). After one week, I received the mail I was waiting for: “Dear Chiara, we would like to offer you a position with our firm.” Now my American dream and Trainee J1 Visa can start!
Participating in Architect-US Career Training Program was the right choice!
Patricia, Program Director, and Rocío, Program Advisor, took care of everything. They helped me along the entire process to get the J-1 visa and support Hoos Architecture in producing all needed paperwork. Thanks to them the sponsorship process was easy and, much more important, I got my visa!
Now I am getting ready for this great adventure at Hoos Architecture!
