On February 10 Netflix will launch a new documentary series called “Abstract: The Art of Design”.
It will feature some of the most important designers of our days to show how design influences our lives and shapes the world. The series includes various aspects of design, each one presented by a prominent and well-known innovator in that particular field. These experts are Platon (photographer), Es Devlin (set designer), Ilse Crawford (interior designer), Ralph Gilles (automobile designer), Tinker Hatfield (Nike shoe designer), Paula Sher (graphic designer) and Christoph Niemann (illustrator).
The innovator in charge of presenting the episode dedicated to architecture is the young Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, founder of the firm BIG, responsible of New York last iconic building: Via 57 West.
