New York, the big city of contrasts. There isn’t any surprise if I say that one day you can love it and another hate it.
That is absolutely true. There isn’t any intermediate color; black or white. That is. After six months I have learned to read beyond the incredible buildings, views, rooftops, shops or whatever you can imagine and also beyond the loads of people, tourists, chaos, noise, speed… And now is when you are ready to open your senses and perceive the magic of the city.
After that, you realize that the spirit of the city isn’t what you can imagine as a tourist; now you can breathe and open your eyes and ears and try to capture each special moment, each special gesture, each special funny and crazy look, each special singer, each unique surprise.
The beauty of this city lives on the spirit and strength of each one who lives here, a little little and anonymous piece of passions, virtues, strangeness and customs. That is, everything or nothing, choose to read it 🙂
