Four Months Later…

Okay, so I was supposed to write one blog post per month. That clearly didn’t happen.

But honestly? The reason is simple, the past four months have been busy in the best way possible.

Since coming back to Studio Outside with my new visa, everything has moved quickly. Projects, deadlines, meetings, revisions… and suddenly four months are gone. It’s been intense, but also incredibly rewarding.

What feels different this time is the level of responsibility. I’m more involved in the design process, more engaged in discussions, and more aware of how decisions are made. It’s not just about producing drawings, it’s about understanding the bigger picture: budgets, coordination, client expectations, timelines. Seeing how everything connects has been one of the most valuable learning experiences so far.

There have definitely been challenging days. Adjusting, keeping up with the pace, balancing multiple tasks at once. But that’s also where the growth happens. I can already see how much more confident I feel compared to when I first started.

And beyond work, living and working in a different country continues to teach me things I didn’t expect about communication, work culture, independence, and adaptability. It pushes you out of your comfort zone in ways that are sometimes uncomfortable, but always worth it.

If someone is thinking about taking this step, my advice after four months would be:

Don’t worry about everything being perfect. You’ll figure things out along the way. Say yes to opportunities. Ask questions. Be patient with yourself.

I’m really happy with how these months have unfolded. Busy? Yes. Challenging? Definitely. Worth it? Absolutely.

Looking forward to what the next few months will bring.
