MVRDV brings colour and human scale to Miami residential design

MVRDV has unveiled Woma, a new mixed-use development in Miami’s Wynwood neighbourhood featuring 163 residences, a central plaza and a colourful facade designed to break down the building’s scale.

Using red, blue, yellow and green elements, varied spandrels and mullions, and sections of scalloped metallic mesh, the studio aims to create a more human-scale presence while referencing Wynwood’s creative and fashion-driven character.
