The new headquarters of the Rego Park Library in Queens, New York, is now officially under construction. The project completely replaces the 1975 branch at 91-41 63rd Drive and, with an investment of $39 million, is designed by Weiss/Manfredi for the Queens Public Library (QPL) and managed by the Department of Design and Construction (DDC). The building will grow to more than twice its current size and will add spaces and features in line with the intensive use of one of the busiest libraries in the system.
