Architects Shibanee Sagar and Aadi Sagar present Tapestry, a residential complex in Frisco, Texas, that redefines suburban living with curved green roofs, gardens accessible from every room, and a master plan entirely geared toward pedestrians. With more than 600 native trees and a landscape of streams and canals, the project seeks to integrate nature into the daily routine of its residents.
From Total Environment, Aadi Sagar highlights how these green roofs improve thermal comfort and protect against the weather, while Shibanee Sagar emphasizes their role as natural insulation throughout the year. A proposal that combines design, sustainability, and well-being to transform the relationship between housing and the environment.
