The proposed tower at 175 Third Street is part of the Gowanus Wharf development in Brooklyn. With more than one million square feet, it will include affordable housing, artist spaces, retail, social areas and a rooftop with a pool and views of Manhattan.
Designed by BIG, the U-shaped structure opens to the waterfront, giving way to a canal-side public park. The project seeks to transform this former industrial environment into a new meeting point for community, architecture and nature.
