An early 20th century building on the Upper West Side has been expanded by local firm CookFox Architects. The project involved restoring the façade of a building constructed in 1915 and extending the structure externally and internally with a 19-story apartment building composed of red and white brick-clad volumes. The studio aimed to honor the architectural legacy of the site and create a “seamless” transition between the existing buildings and the new construction.
