New social housing in Brooklyn

A new affordable housing block has been completed by architectural firm Studio Libeskind in Brooklyn, New York. The project, called The Atrium at Sumner Houses, features 190 senior apartments and is located at the center of the New York City Housing Authority’s (NYCHA) Sumner Houses campus. The 11-story block is wrapped around a full-height central atrium that gives the building its name.
