A black-clad apartment building with an interior courtyard in Southern California, known as The Jagger, has been topped by Hopson Rodstrom Design with a new sawtooth roof.
The studio designed the structure to «embrace» the larger-scale zoning that exists along public thoroughfares in areas of the city usually filled with low-rise structures. The seven-story structure has a ground-level podium clad in green-painted concrete interspersed with steel doors. Along this, doors lead to the complex and glass-fronted retail and restaurant components.
