Artistree Home has designed an elevated domed treehouse in Sonoma County, California. The project, known as Spyglass by Hometree, is a 28-square-meter residence situated on a 5-acre wooded lot. Its design centers on a large sequoia that supports the platform structure. The black metal platform rises from a hillside with a single-step entry bridge. The house, which rises 8 meters off the ground, is elevated on slender steel poles that minimize disturbance to the environment.
