Perkins&Will to Design the Smithsonian’s Bezos Learning Center in Washington DC

Perkins&Will has been selected by the Smithsonian to design the Bezos Learning Center at the National Air and Space Museum located on the prominent National Mall in Washington DC. The project is inspired by the shape of a spiral galaxy and occupies the site of the already demolished Restaurant Pavilion. The goal of the new building is to bring innovative educational spaces to complete the program of the National Air and Space Museum.
