Originally built in 1941 as a shipyard during World War II, Building 12 will be renovated into a space that will highlight the San Francisco Bay and will be used for community gatherings and events. The ground floor will be active with visitors freely moving in and out of the market, while the upper floors will house artisans’ and makers’ studios and workplaces.
