The iconic Transamerica Pyramid will be renovated by Foster + Partners and will receive expanded open spaces below. There are also plans to expand the complex to some of the surrounding buildings. The project consists of a substantial upgrade to the interiors and exteriors of the 48-story building, which was originally designed by William L Pereira and Harry D Som.
