A new limestone clad building for the Permanent Mission of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations in Manhattan has been designed by SOM The building is located in the Turtle Bay neighborhood of Manhattan, near the UN headquarters, and will feature limestone from the same quarries that provided the facades of the Empire State Building and Rockefeller Center.
