SUPERSPACE, based in Istanbul, has proposed a new concept for a wooden observation tower bagged in Zagreb, Croatia. Designed to be an iconic door, the project would be located between the old city and the new one. Called Ascension, the project is inspired by the historical and natural landmarks of Zagreb. Facing the south bank of the river Sava, the shape of the tower is derived from the character of the existing towers of the old town integrated with a new vertical forest.
