«3GATTI, the architecture studio based in Rome, has surprised with its new proposal for Madrid: the new municipal library in the Villaverde neighborhood, which will have two floors, will be much more than that. The design reproduces a green spaceship that employs the curiosity of the public to attract visitors and create an iconic presence in the city.
The lowest floor of the library, which will be at ground level, will be transparent and open; the upper floor will float on the floor and will contain the most private and quiet study spaces.» – Archdaily
