BIG presents Oceanix, the floating city of the future

In the face of the impending extreme meteorological phenomena and the rise in sea level, the architectural firm BIG has designed an idea that will allow the construction of a floating city with a capacity for 10,000 people. Oceanix, which will be called the floating city, will be composed of several floating islands that will occupy a total space of 12 hectares. In this way a community of 1650 residents will be formed, which will end up hosting 10,000 citizens as it expands in the future
