Winter activities in New York

Winter activities in New York – Christmas is here!

The Big Apple is definitely an amazing city known not just because of skyscrapers, museums, and parks but also because of the Holidays vibes there are many Winter activities in New York and many popular Christmas movies have been filmed in New York, from the well-known Home Alone 2 with many scenes filmed around Central Park to more recent popular films like Elf or Serendipity.

During this season the city also offers the best decorations (in parks and streets), food and drinks, holiday markets and winter activities to feel the Christmas spirit. It’s very traditional for New Yorkers and visitors to go ice-skating and NYC has a variety of indoor and outdoor venues to enjoy skating and many Winter activities in New York. Whether you can go to the Rink at Rockefeller Center or The Rink at Bryant Park in midtown. Particularly, the admission for The Rink at Bryant Park is free of charge, you have only had to pay $20 to rent the skates with no time limit. A lock is required (normally cost $10) for the lockers to store your belongings, so consider bringing your own lock. There is also a 10% discount if you are a Bank of America cardholder.

I tried ice-skating for the first at Bryant Park this year and I have to admit that it was not so easy as a beginner but it was so much fun!
