Miami is not only sun and beach but is also starting to be a cultural city. New museums have opened recently, and the Frost Museum is one of them. Located in the heart of the city (downtown) with easy access and parking, the museum offers a variety of attractions, although the best one, in my personal opinion is the aquarium. It’s so interesting to see from the bottom of the surface sea life happening. There is a variety of sea animals , like stingrays and sharks, that you can stare for 30 min and dont get tired, just looking how they move and interact between them.
There is also a small pool where you can actually touch the stingrays, i think we touched them like 10 times…they are so soft!
The planetarium located inside the dome is also an experience, you can choose between 3 shows, we chose Dynamic Earth. So you have a 25min 3d high resolution 360* movie showing the earth, the sea and the entire ecosystem shaping the earth climate.
I would recommend to go early in the morning and stay around 4 hours at least to make sure you have a great taste of natural science, after lunch it starts to gert crowdy and it becomes difficult to see the exhibitions.
Certainly, i will go again because its relaxing and shares a bit of the wild nature we usually forget in our hustle daily life!
