Yes I am in Orlando- the Epicenter of World’s theme Park.
Never ever in my dreams I dared to think possibility of gaining experience theme park architecture in USA and today I am in Orlando, FL, all set to start a whole new life from tomorrow.
It all started when I was working on LegoLand at Dubai Theme Park, when I met american Architects and Designers. I shared my portfolio with them and finally I got a training program offer to enhance my design thinking and abilities in theme park architecture to shape my career further.
All seemed good but how to get an Indian dreamer to US? Yes of course! Architect-US will fix everything, that’s what HR from ITEC entertainment said.
I filled up the form at Architect-US website and the process started and for me it was very easy. I just scanned my documents and that’s it. Initially it was taking time due to Christmas and New year holidays. And then all of sudden, within a week everything was done. Yes within a week, I got interviewed at US consulate and my visa was approved.
I just flew back to my hometown, packed my stuff and came back to New Delhi to board the flight to New York to Orlando.
I am waiting for Monday to start the program at ITEC entertainment.
