I hope you are enjoying Christmas time in USA. Last week I attended a cocktail party on Nantucket. It was organized in the Whaling Museum. Our company was invited by local lumber supplier Marine Home Center.
It was very nice event. In the museum we could see a lot of creatively decorated Christmas trees.
In one place I saw whale skeleton and Christmas trees decorated with paper whales, ties and shells. Also it was a good opportunity to meet architects and contractors working on the island. The Whaling Museum was restored in 2005. It features an expanded top-quality exhibition space, a fully accessible rooftop observation deck overlooking Nantucket harbor, a 46-foot sperm whale skeleton, and a restored 1847 candle factory.
For me it was an unforgettable magical Christmas atmosphere in the Whaling museum.
