Chinatown lunch: Ramen!

People wait in line for hours sometimes to get a table, but is totally worth it!

My office has a lot of clients with projects in Chinatown, so we get the chance to go there often while we do site visits. One of my favorite places is Terakawa Ramen Philly, a Japanese restaurant that serves only Ramen. People wait in line for hours sometimes to get a table , but is totally worth it!

Ramen is a kind of soup with a bone/pork based broth, combined with mushrooms, eggs, bean sprouts, chopped scallions, fish cake, pork meat, etc, (depending on the variety). It is amazing, and this recipe in particular was obtained by the owner from a chef in Japan, and some ingredients are a secret.

We also enjoy ordering it to pick up and bringing it to the office during our typical Friday lunch. A must-visit restaurant in Philly for sure!
