The Canadian architect Frank Gehry will be responsible for the design of a new center for the Youth Orchestra in Los Angeles as the orchestra’s centennial season approaches. It will be the first permanent home for the youth-outreach program, which started in 2007 as a collaboration between the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association’s music and artistic director Gustavo Dudamel.
