The magnificent summer on the north east coast is approaching its end. Being the nicest season over the year, summer has not only tanned my skin but also brought up the sparks of vibrancy of this quite and stern city which has been constantly refreshing my impression on her over the past several months.
To get the most out of the remaining last sensible heat, I drove three hours down the coast for this unarguably best beach at the north east. It is an island set off from the Delaware peninsula forming part of the intracostal waterway.
Being in such unique geographic location, the island is embraced by the sea on both side. Atlantic Ocean on the east and a marsh abundant bay on its west. Ponies stroll cursively on the sandy beach. Dog chases playfully the uncatchable birds. With the falling sun shining over the water, it was time to hit the road and a new chillier week will begin!
