One of the best ways to learn about American society is volunteering.
That is why I decided to become a member of the Animal Haven Shelter. This company, located in NYC, provide care and shelter for abandoned dogs and cats, and try to find a family for them.
The work as volunteer mainly consist in feeding, cleaning the animals, walking with them and also, showing them to families who want to adopt.
